Fanning the Flames

   In politics, especially politics that reign over a tabloid society , information is the great equalizer .Skilled politicians and their minions focus all of their combined energies on the dissemination and suppression of information.

 They spread far and wide the rhetoric that ‘works’ for them and stifle the reverse.

 Those who aspire to great power on the National level employ very successful (though not so warm and fuzzy) tactics to mute the voices of their opposition .

 These old school “Rules” are widely known and , even with the technological advancements in communication , the essence of their intent , is still dominant in the world of organizing .

 You know the old saying , ” You have to play by the rules” ?  Even Hillary followed the ‘rules’ (by now you’ve , no doubt ,  figured out that I am speaking of Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals http://www.vcn.bc.ca/citizens-handbook/rules.html ) and she WON the primaries . As Murphy of pumapac.org  points out :   http://pumapac.org/   

Hillary Rodham Clinton: 17,857,446  (48.04% of the votes)
Barack Hussein Obama: 17,584,649  (47.31% of the votes)

  

(Now) Madame Secretary was hobbled by her inability to employ Rule # 5 – ” Ridicule”.

 Other than her ,” He made a ‘speech’ “comment , any ridicule of her opponent was off limits and would be quickly derided by her opposition as ‘ RACIST’ .

 They controlled the message . They controlled the information . While Obama would jab and move in attacking his , much more qualified , opponent , flipping her off or wiping off his shoulders , he employed the army of the “tingle up my leg” ,”Hillary’s a bitch,” and” I would totally suck his dick” press corps to do his bidding .

 HIS message got out , and what was that message ? Change . Period .

 After 8 loooong years of Bushitler , this country wanted nothing more than CHANGE .

 Had Obama NOT invoked such a broad premise , he would have been limited to his ideological and demographic ‘base’ . By literally OWNING “change’ , he exponentially expanded his core following .

 Obviously we , who are an increasing number , realize that his message of ‘change’ was nothing more than rhetoric . He has changed nothing except his address .

 Even with the obstinate press refusing to report anything that would soil the image of their Master in Chief , the word is getting out . PEOPLE are fanning the Flames .

 It’s bloggers , and lurkers , and activists who are spreading the word that McPresident got their order WRONG . They ‘wanted the freaking pickle !”

 Keep talking , fan the flames . Go back to your regular blog and FAN the FLAMES .Spread the word . In politics , perception is reality . “People are waking up !” ” Obama is losing his grip ” point to links that indicate what is happening . SAY it and make it so .
